Hmmm...

Simply “dock” your Ubuntu capable phone into a dock connected to your computer and BOOM! You have Ubuntu that has all of the capabilities of Android on your desktop or lappy. You can access all of your apps, send texts, picture messages, even make phone calls!!! Wow, I think I’ve died and gone to heaven.


Got that now with a Bluetooth keyboard and HDMI cable from the Xoom. No Ubuntu (or dock) required.

Although being able to run Ubuntu on the Xoom would be cool... 8)

My Motorola Photon has a micro HDMI output, so I am ready to go!

In fact, I just saw something in the Android Market the other day that lets you run Ubuntu (or some other distro, I suspect, if you're motivated enough) as a chroot under your running Android install.
