Good God... that IS my shortwave radio! I've got the Q-Multiplier to go with it. Have to use an external speaker though because I get feedback through the tubes... yes folks, a tube radio. Still runs and I still use it.

Here a very good link given for use shortwave radio. Our TV is not good so now a days i am turn on radio. It is really great instrument, It is really fun and easy to handle, it is not need any electricity line.

I have a Kenwood TS-850C with bells and whistles. I also have two National HR0-50T and T1 receivers of roughly 1952 vintage that will out perform the receiver in the Kenwood. The only shortcoming of the "old iron" is that there is no noise blanker. Try to use the HRO-50, and a B&W 5100 with a Heathkit SB-10. Gotta be something like 40 knobs.
