from the EAS remailer:

It is with sad heart that one of our more dynamic SBE members, Larry Bloomfield, KA6UTC, of Florence Oregon passed away today in Eugene.

Sunday Night, Larry had a massive heart attack from which he never recovered.

Many of you from SBE chapters around the country remember Larry for his road show, "The Taste of NAB"

Funeral Services will be at the Burns Funeral Home on 27th street in Florence Oregon, 2 pm this Sunday.

Chris Murray
SBE 76, Eugene, Oregon

He'll be missed, nice guy.

I heard about this earlier today. I met Larry when I had him bring the Taste to the Hartford SBE chapter, when I was chairman.

He was stubborn, and rough, but very smart and cared alot about us engineers. His programs were entertaining and he always said how
much he had loved visiting our chapter. He will be missed by many.
