do me a favor, if you want info on windows 7 DO NOT ask the geek squad, they are the dumbest people in the computer field, (as far as in my area), i went shopping for a new pc and asked specific questions on the capabilities for 7 home and pro version. i asked the geek boys if it runs older office xp versions, and it said the pro version does, what they didnt know is you need to set up a virtual machine on your win 7 and then install the old office software in the VM. i also asked about imaging software like ghost or acronis, (deer in the headlights). they told me win7 allows you to make an image just once, since i never used the option they offered to do it for me (fee of course) along with taking off the junk stuff trial ware etc... Well after some use i found they didn't take the extras off and i found that you can create an image at any time as many times as you want!!!!!! so what did i pay for huh???. anyway so far though win 7 has been pretty ok i just need a good free antivirus before kasperski times out.

Symantec's Ghost Version 11 seems to work with Windows 7.
